DROUGHT AND HEAT STRESS RESILIENCE

LEANUM® is designed to support soil biological activity and plant resilience under heat and water stress. Field experience in Southern Ukraine has demonstrated the viability and activity of LEANUM® natural microflora under severe heat and drought conditions, including very high soil-surface temperatures - up to 60˚С.

ROOT FORMATION

LEANUM® supports the development of an active root-zone microbiome and promotes root development, helping plants to make better use of available soil moisture under drought conditions.

SOIL RESTORATION

LEANUM® introduces naturally occurring microflora and organic components originating from humus-based raw materials into depleted soils, supporting soil biological activity, structure and water-retention capacity.

DESERT. SAND GARDEN

In a field trial under arid conditions, LEANUM® treatment was associated with plant survival of up to 90%, compared with 10% in the untreated/control technology. Results depend on crop, soil, climate and application conditions.

WATER CONSUMPTION (ton per ton of grown products)

In a documented watermelon field trial, LEANUM® treatment was associated with approximately 20–22% lower water consumption per tonne of fruit. Results may vary depending on crop, soil, climate and application conditions.

SALT MARSHES

Field experience indicates that LEANUM® can support crop establishment and soil improvement under saline-soil conditions, including soils where conventional cultivation is difficult.

VERSATILITY

LEANUM® can be used in conventional fertilisation and crop-protection programmes. When used in tank mixtures, compatibility with the specific products should be verified before application. LEANUM® should be added to the tank mixture last.

LEANUM®, TO COMBAT DROUGHT AND ITS CONSEQUENCES!

Climate change, rising temperatures and increasingly frequent periods of drought are creating new challenges for agriculture, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions.

SYNERGISM: SEVEN IN ONE

BIOLOGIZATION - THE WAY TO ORGANICS

Ecologically, the product is so safe and useful for the whole living world. It attracts pollinators (bees, etc.).

LEANUM® is designed to support biological soil processes and may contribute to reducing dependence on intensive chemical inputs as part of an integrated soil-management programme.

In specific trial, treatment with 2 L/ha LEANUM® produced results comparable to 30kg / ha Nitrogenium

OUR MISSION

If you wish to switch to organic farming, the LEANUM® application allows you to do that in 5-6 years without additional investments. LEANUM® gradually reduces the chemical load and restores the natural microflora of the soil.

TEKMASH Institute designed a new technology and developed an innovative product line under a common name LEANUM®

Climate change, rising temperatures and increasingly frequent periods of drought are creating new challenges for agriculture, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. These conditions increase the importance of technologies that support soil biological activity, water efficiency and plant resilience to environmental stress.

Anticipating these challenges more than ten years ago, TEKMASH Institute began developing a new technology and a product line under the LEANUM® name. The technology has subsequently been developed and tested under challenging agricultural conditions in Southern Ukraine, including sandy and loamy soils, saline soils and areas exposed to severe heat and drought.

LEANUM® is an EU-certified liquid organo-mineral fertiliser (PFC 1(B)(II), CMC 1) produced using the patented HTD-Technology®.

The product is based on humus-containing raw materials that naturally contain diverse soil microflora. No separately isolated, selected or laboratory-cultivated microbial strains are added to LEANUM®. During the HTD production process, the naturally occurring microorganisms develop within the raw material and subsequently undergo controlled thermal stress.

This process is designed to preserve a resilient natural microbial community together with water-soluble organic components, including humic and fulvic substances and other compounds derived from the starting raw materials.

During the production process, the naturally occurring microorganisms undergo controlled thermal treatment, including temperatures above 60°C. This thermal hardening promotes the survival of more resilient forms of the natural microflora and is intended to support their subsequent activity under demanding environmental conditions. By supporting biological processes in the root zone, LEANUM® can contribute to stronger root development and improved plant resilience to heat and water stress.

LEANUM® is intended to support soil biological activity, root development and plant resilience under challenging growing conditions, including heat, drought, salinity and soil degradation. It can contribute to improved soil conditions and more efficient use of available soil moisture.

Field trials conducted by TEKMASH under Southern Ukrainian growing conditions demonstrated yield increases of 0.7 t/ha for wheat, 0.5 t/ha for sunflower and 1.5 t/ha for maize. LEANUM® has also been tested under challenging conditions, including sandy and saline soils, severe heat and water stress, and degraded soils.

These field results demonstrate the potential of the technology under demanding agricultural conditions. Actual performance may vary depending on crop, soil, climate, application rate and cultivation technology. For this reason, specific performance data should be considered in the context of the respective field trials rather than as universal performance guarantees.

The experience gained to date provides a strong basis for further independent evaluation of LEANUM® under local climatic and soil conditions, including arid and semi-arid regions.
